Why Fitness Matters

Many of you seek to live a complete life. We look to not only be successful in one aspect, but rather all five aspects of our life. These are work, health, learning, social, and spiritual. While many people will focus entirely on one aspect of life they will find themself lacking in the others, we can work on raising the tide of all aspects of our life as opposed to steering in one direction or another. For many this will go in phases we will focus on our career and learning, but neglect our spiritual self and our health. Let's pause for a second and define all aspects of life. We have work which we will define as your career and finance. Health being your physical self. Learning which is your personal development. Social being your relationship with other. Spiritual being your relationship to something greater than yourself. By inserting fitness into your life this will help elevate all aspects of your life. Many of you seek to live a complete life. Spiritual being your relationship to something greater than yourself. By inserting fitness into your life this will help elevate all aspects of your life.


Fitness will help you with your work by building up your confidence. There is no secret that when you feel good about your physical self will improve the way that you carry yourself and how you value yourself. Being fitter will increase your self worth. The value that you have for yourself will help you when you are looking for that promotion or pay increase.


Fitness will help you with your health starting with some obvious commonalities. First there is a direct correlation between cardiac health and cardiovascular exercise which greatly improves fitness. Beyond this when we explore health as it pertains to joint health it is regularly illustrated that resistance training can help with joint health, muscular imbalances, and joint stability. Also, there have been studies that have shown that fitness can help improve hormonal health as well.


When it pertains to learning fitness, will help you improve your focus and will help with your overall cognitive functioning. By taking the time for your fitness it will help you learn more. Not only will taking care of your fitness help your capacity to learn it will also help you learn everything you are capable of.


Fixing your fitness will help you socially, in a number of capacities. First it will help you develop greater confidence and build you up. Often the gym is an amazing social atmosphere that will help you build up your social network. When socializing in a fitness community you will shift your social circle to people focusing on self improvement.


Finally taking time to improve your fitness will help you spiritually. I know for me personally exercise is a form of meditation, but even if you are like me when it comes to exercise complete fitness programs will incorporate yoga, meditation or other recovery methods that will help you work on yourself spiritually.


Fitness will help you improve on every aspect of your life and help you become a more complete person. By taking time for your fitness you will improve your productivity, health, spirituality, social circles, and learning. Always remember to be your best self and take time to work on yourself you're worth it.
